QA Project Manager

Talent STEM are recruiting an experienced QA Project Manager to join a leading life sciences organisation in Visp, Switzerland on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior QA leadership role, supporting both internal stakeholders and external customers on high-profile projects.

End Date: 17 June 2026, with possible extension

The role
As QA Project Manager, you will provide both tactical and strategic leadership to a team of QA Project Managers. You will oversee quality deliverables across tech transfer, process validation, sterility assurance, and compliance-related activities. Acting as a senior escalation point, you will resolve complex quality challenges, ensure objectives are met in full compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and mentoring a team of QA Project Managers to deliver on quality objectives.

- Managing QA activities across tech transfer, process validation, deviations, change controls, and regulatory compliance.

- Monitoring and reporting on QA KPIs to internal and external stakeholders.

- Acting as QA SME on Change Controls, Deviations, CAPAs, and Investigations.

- Representing QA during site meetings, regulatory inspections, and customer audits.

- Driving efficiency, training, and risk-based decision making within QA.

- Supporting client projects directly as QA Project Manager when required.

About you

- BSc/MSc in Science, Biotechnology, or related discipline.

- 10–15 years’ Quality Assurance experience.

- Experience managing direct reports in a regulated environment.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to resolve complex quality issues and deliver improvements.
